Import of dried apricots to Armenia declines in 2017

Apricots import diminished by 17.95 percent in 2017, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office present. Apricots import decreased from 13 473 kilogram in 2016 to 11 055.11 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 76.44%. Armenia saw an increase of 742.62% in apricots import over the past 21 years. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.22 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 37 621.24 kilogram from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 104 539 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 1 312 kilogram in 1997.
