Export of maize starch from Senegal: Increase in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that in 2016 maize starch export climbed strongly by 91.52 percent. The indicator rose greatly by 50 898 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 4.8%. Senegal saw a growth of 30 595.1% in maize starch export over the past 21 years. Furthermore, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.25 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 72 623 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 166 155 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 347 kilogram in 1996.
