Fuel oil demand in China: Decline in May 2018

JODI Data published that in comparison to the month before the indicator diminished by 16.98%. Fuel oil demand went down from 2 638 thousand tonnes to 2 190 thousand tonnes, versus the previous month when it went up by 23.39 percent. The same month the year before, the variable dropped by -28.82 percent and reached 1 902 thousand tonnes. When examining the year-on-year setting, a 15.14 percent raise can be established between May 2017 and May 2018. China saw a decrease of 36.71% in fuel oil demand during the last 14 years. In comparison with its average, the fuel oil demand is now lower as the mean equals 3 015.48 thousand tonnes with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 5 130 thousand tonnes in June 2004 and record low of 1 336 thousand tonnes in September 2011.
