Floor space of buildings completed in China is unchanged in 2017

According to new data presented by China National Statistical Office, building starts remained steady in comparison to the prior year. For the 2nd consecutive year, the building starts hasn't changed at 312 119.03 ten thousand square meter. China saw a growth of 101.86% in building starts during the last 32 years. Though, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.02 percent during the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 213 233.85 ten thousand square meter from 1986 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 355 068.38 ten thousand square meter in 2014 and record low of 107 952 ten thousand square meter in 1990.
