Fuel oil consumption in mining in China: Increase in 2015

The indicator went up by 28.61% in 2015, according to numbers issued by China National Statistical Office. Fuel oil consumption rose from 24.54 ten thousand metric ton in 2014 to 31.56 ten thousand metric ton previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 3.15 percent. China saw a fall of 84.97% in fuel oil consumption over the past 16 years. Furthermore, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the last five years with a modest overall decline since the 2000. It averaged 76.69 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 212.02 ten thousand metric ton in 2001 and record low of 16.44 ten thousand metric ton in 2012.
