Commercial vehicles in use in Syria: Rise in 2017

OICA announced that in comparison to one year earlier commercial vehicles in use rose slightly by 4.51 percent. It indicates the all-time peak since 2005 as the indicator grew barely from 2 408.8 thousand units to 2 517.5 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 4.73%. Syria saw an increase of 77.29% in commercial vehicles in use during the last 13 years. Besides, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.04% during the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the 2005. It averaged 1 908.68 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 1 420 thousand units in 2005.
