Export of cigarettes containing tobacco from Ireland climbs in 2017

Compared with the previous year cigarette export rose by 5.21 percent, according to revised numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator grew by 11 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it dropped by 61.07%. The overall changes for the previous 26 years hit a decline of 99.99%. Furthermore, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.26% during the five years with a modest overall fall since the 1992. It averaged 663 357.66 kilogram from 1992 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 7 674 290 kilogram in 1994 and record low of 211 kilogram in 2016.
