Import of bitumen and asphalt, asphaltites and asphaltic rocks to Mauritius goes down in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that bitumen import diminished by 14.02 percent compared to the prior year. The indicator decreased by 244 923 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 57.16 percent. The overall changes for the previous 24 years reached a rise of 408.02%. However, it has attained a drop at a 0.34 percent average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1993. It averaged 4 935 248.71 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 11 613 013 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 33 705 kilogram in 1995.
