Export of lumber of oak (quercus spp) from Japan: Rise in 2017

In 2017 the variable went up sharply by 64.45 percent, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Wood product export grew strongly from 422 cubic meter in 2016 to 694 cubic meter previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 163.75%. The overall changes for the previous 26 years hit a diminution of 18.45%. Furthermore, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.25% during the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 735.15 cubic meter from 1992 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2 459 cubic meter in 2012 and record low of 160 cubic meter in 2015.
