Import of soya beans to South Africa drops in 2017

Soya beans import declined sharply by 89.58% in comparison to the previous year, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator strongly diminished from 103 229 080 US Dollar in 2016 to 10 752 374 US Dollar previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 44.7%. South Africa saw a decrease of 41.2% in soya beans import during the last 18 years.
