Naphtha export in Greece: Growth in May 2018

In comparison with the prior month naphtha export rose strongly by 85 percent, according to revised figures announced by JODI Data. The indicator increased sharply by 8.57 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it went up by 46.4 percent. May 2017, the variable declined by -3.22% and hit 8.61 thousand barrels per day. Between May 2017 and the same month the year after, the numbers constitute a 116.66 percent variation. Greece saw a drop of 2.96% in naphtha export during the last 9 years. Moreover, the naphtha export is now bigger than its average which equals 14.86 thousand barrels per day with a overall increase since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 50.53 thousand barrels per day in January 2013 and record low of 2.58 thousand barrels per day in July 2009.
