Import of jams, fruit jellies, purees and pastes to Italy: Raise in 2017

According to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, compared to the same time a year ago the indicator rose by 7.94 percent. It highlights the all-time maximum since 1994 as confectionary import increased from 33 394 456 kilogram to 36 045 072 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 5.79%. Italy saw a growth of 382.78% in confectionary import during the last 24 years. Furthermore, it has had a 0.01% average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 20 611 874.75 kilogram from 1994 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 7 326 760 kilogram in 1996.
