Import of sweet biscuits and waffles to Portugal falls in 2017

European Commission published that bakery import hardly decreased by 4.93 percent compared with the previous year. The variable fell negligibly by 1 949 460 Euro, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 1.53 percent. Portugal saw an increase of 263.05% in bakery import over the past 23 years. Likewise, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.03% over the five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 23 611 224.43 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 39 512 900 Euro in 2016 and record low of 9 432 690 Euro in 1997.
