Import of pacemakers for stimulating heart muscles to Ireland decreases in 2016

In comparison with the previous year machine tool and equipment import strongly declined by 51.07 percent, according to new numbers announced by European Commission. The variable greatly fell by 24 469 092 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 37.84 percent. Ireland saw a drop of 11.91% in machine tool and equipment import during the last 17 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01% during the last five years with a modest overall decrease since the 2000. It averaged 56 370 782.24 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 254 773 264 Euro in 2001 and record low of 3 380 210 Euro in 2011.
