Export of frozen, dried, salted or in brine cuttlefish and squid from Norway increases in 2017

According to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, cuttlefish export grew sharply by 43.11 percent in 2017. The indicator greatly rose from 4 066 kilogram to 5 819 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it dropped by 39.39 percent. Norway saw a decline of 99.3% in cuttlefish export during the last 25 years. Besides, it has shown the CAGR of 0.06% over the last 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 592 840.92 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 3 381 745 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 1 850 kilogram in 2012.
