Export of frozen, dried, salted or in brine cuttlefish and squid from Norway grows in 2017

According to adjusted data issued by United Nations Statistical Office, cuttlefish export climbed greatly by 43.11 percent in 2017. Cuttlefish export strongly grew by 1 753 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it dropped by 39.39 percent. The overall changes for the prior 25 years hit a decrease of 99.3%. Besides, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.06% over the five years with a negligible overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 592 840.92 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 3 381 745 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 1 850 kilogram in 2012.
