Import of hairpins, curling pins, hair-curlers and the like to Rwanda decreases in 2016

The indicator strongly dropped by 38.45 percent in comparison to the prior year, according to adjusted data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods import decreased greatly by 3 806 US Dollar, in comparison with the previous year when it rose by 6.61%. Rwanda saw a raise of 4 379.41% in consumer goods import during the last 21 years. However, it has attained a drop at a 0.16 percent CAGR over the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 3 537.86 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 16 261 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 136 US Dollar in 1996.
