European Commission announced that flax yarn export declined by 19.72 percent in 2017. The indicator fell by 326 740 Euro, versus the previous year when it rose by 3.36 percent. Spain saw a decline of 63.85% in flax yarn export over the past 15 years. Compared to its average, the flax yarn export is now smaller as the mean equals 1 623 228 Euro and the variable illustrates a slight overall diminution since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 3 816 210 Euro in 2004 and record low of 483 320 Euro in 2009.
