Import of frozen whole mackerel to Slovakia goes down in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that frozen mackerel import strongly diminished by 35.24% in comparison to the previous year. The indicator sharply declined by 157 123 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 28.39%. The overall changes for the previous 23 years reached a decline of 84.71%. Moreover, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.07 percent during the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 874 881.26 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 020 446 kilogram in 1998 and record low of 97 978 kilogram in 2011.
