Import of cobalt ores and concentrates to Belgium: Decrease in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in 2017 the indicator declined strongly by 50.48 percent. Cobalt import fell sharply by 60 585.3 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 43.02 percent. Belgium saw a decline of 72.6% in cobalt import over the past 19 years. As well as it has had a diminution at a 0.07 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 175 657.83 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 453 031 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 6 kilogram in 2002.
