Import of cobalt ores and concentrates to Belgium decreases in 2017

Compared to 2016 cobalt import strongly dropped by 50.48 percent, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. Cobalt import decreased greatly from 120 024 kilogram in 2016 to 59 438.7 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 43.02 percent. The overall changes for the prior 19 years attained a diminution of 72.6%. Moreover, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.07 percent during the five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 175 657.83 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 453 031 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 6 kilogram in 2002.
