Fuel oil consumption in smelting and pressing of non-ferrous metals in China goes down in 2015

In comparison with the prior year fuel oil consumption decreased by 11.93%, revised data from China National Statistical Office reveal. The indicator declined by 6.06 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 4.83 percent. It's the lowest number in its history since 2000. China saw a drop of 19.29% in fuel oil consumption over the past 16 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.11 percent during the last five years with a moderate overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 72.97 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it attained its maximum of 98.41 ten thousand metric ton in 2008.
