Flax yarn import fell by 1 786 800 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it rose by 8.9 percent. Italy saw a diminution of 23.55% in flax yarn import over the past 15 years. Besides, it has attained a decrease at a 0.01 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 10 092 473.33 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 12 757 600 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 6 185 500 kilogram in 2009.
