Supply of coal gas in cities in China declines in 2016

In comparison to the previous year the indicator went down by 6.47 percent, updated figures from China National Statistical Office display. Coal gas supply fell by 3.05 hundred million cubic meter, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 15.75 percent. It attained its 17-year minimum. China saw a drop of 71.07% in coal gas supply over the past 17 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.11 percent over the 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 185.16 hundred million cubic meter from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 361.55 hundred million cubic meter in 2009.
