Supply of coal gas in cities in China: Decrease in 2017

China National Statistical Office announced that the indicator fell by 13.45 percent compared with the previous year. It highlights the all-time minimum since 2000 as coal gas supply declined by 5.93 hundred million cubic meter, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 6.47 percent. China saw a decline of 74.96% in coal gas supply over the past 18 years. As well as it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.09 percent during the 5 years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 176.99 hundred million cubic meter from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 361.55 hundred million cubic meter in 2009.
