Import of vaccines for human use to Kazakhstan: Rise in 2017

Vaccines import grew sharply by 30.42 percent compared to the prior year, according to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator increased strongly by 30 791.7 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 39.54%. Kazakhstan saw a growth of 217.94% in vaccines import during the last 17 years. However, it has shown a fall at a 0.03 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 88 653.39 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 167 739 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 41 521 kilogram in 2001.
