Value added of hardware manufacturing in Canada: Rise in 2016

According to adjusted data announced by Canada National Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the variable climbed negligibly by 1.08%. Industrial equipment value added rose slightly by 7 978 thousand Canadian Dollars, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 23.25%. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit a diminution of 18.69%. Furthermore, it has had a growth at a 0.1% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 657 456.46 thousand Canadian Dollars from 2004 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 918 685 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2006 and record low of 446 786 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2011.
