Export of unbleached plain weave cotton containing more than 85% by weight of cotton weighing more than 200 g/m2 from Kazakhstan goes down in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that cotton export fell greatly by 65.36 percent in 2017. The indicator sharply declined from 31 331 kilogram in 2016 to 10 852 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 63.6%. Kazakhstan saw a decline of 72.6% in cotton export during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.31% over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 32 938.76 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 101 700 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 3 200 kilogram in 2010.
