Production of imides and their derivatives and salts thereof, excluding saccharin and its salts in Germany: Fall in 2017

In comparison to the prior year the indicator decreased negligibly by 4.64 percent, according to adjusted data presented by European Commission. Organic chemicals production hardly declined by 1 049 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 3.62%. Germany saw a growth of 127.01% in organic chemicals production over the past 23 years. Still it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.05 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 1995. It averaged 9 623 304.35 kilogram from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 39 506 000 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 5 729 000 kilogram in 1996.
