Import of medicaments of other antibiotics packaged for retail sale to Bulgaria decreases in 2016

According to updated data presented by European Commission, antibiotic import decreased by 19.61 percent in comparison to one year earlier. Antibiotic import dropped by 5 892 380 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 6.49 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a growth of 143.05%. However, it has attained a fall at a 0.01 percent CAGR over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 21 160 574.38 Euro from 2001 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 30 044 810 Euro in 2015 and record low of 9 681 720 Euro in 2002.
