Export of crude soyabean oil from South Africa decreases in 2017

Soyabean oil export diminished strongly by 35.77% in 2017, according to numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Soyabean oil export sharply decreased from 49 468 280 kilogram to 31 772 874 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 2.5%. The overall changes for the prior 18 years hit a growth of 613.83%. Besides, it has attained an increase at a 0.2% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 11 982 108.67 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 50 737 164 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 63 303 kilogram in 2007.
