Import of tools for drilling, other than for rock drilling to Senegal decreases in 2016

Construction equipment import sharply dropped by 53.34 percent compared to the previous year, according to refreshed figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Construction equipment import fell strongly by 322 903 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 62.65%. Senegal saw a growth of 3 046.75% in construction equipment import over the past 21 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.24 percent CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall rise since the 1996. It averaged 201 136.95 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 621 042 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 8 978 US Dollar in 1996.
