Export of brassieres and parts thereof from Japan: Decrease in 2017

Compared to the previous year apparel export fell by 6.54 percent, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office present. The variable went down by 2 288 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 2.62 percent. The overall changes for the previous 30 years hit a rise of 60.63%. However, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.02% during the last 5 years with a modest overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 44 412.2 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 85 159 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 20 354 kilogram in 1988.
