Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Tanzania: Diminution in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that in comparison with the previous year construction equipment import diminished greatly by 72.37%. Construction equipment import sharply dropped by 327 162 kilogram, in comparison to the prior year when it increased by 6.29 percent. Tanzania saw a growth of 172.64% in construction equipment import over the past 22 years. Still it has shown a diminution at a 0.15% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1995. It averaged 216 438.32 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 452 066 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 17 994 kilogram in 1996.
