Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Latvia: Raise in 2017

According to adjusted numbers announced by European Commission, in comparison to the previous year antibiotic import rose strongly by 84.62%. It attained its 17-year peak as the variable sharply increased by 8 276 910 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 7 218.22%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years reached a raise of 6 104.37%. Furthermore, it has had a 1.08% CAGR during the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the 2001. It averaged 1 881 241.76 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 2 620 Euro in 2005.
