Production of sulphonamides in Italy climbs in 2016

European Commission announced that in comparison to the previous year the indicator negligibly increased by 4.21%. Production of sulphonamides slightly went up by 15.52 thousand kilograms, versus the prior year when it went down by 12.19%. Italy saw a drop of 26.35% in production of sulphonamides during the last 21 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.74% during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 17 270.37 thousand kilograms from 1996 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 345 016.38 thousand kilograms in 2012 and record low of 311 thousand kilograms in 2010.
