Export of stranded wire, cables, plaited bands of copper not electrically insulated from Chile climbs in 2017

According to adjusted numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, copper export grew by 8.32% in 2017. It's new all-time high since 1991 as the indicator increased from 2 316 252 kilogram to 2 508 877.75 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 60.41%. The overall changes for the prior 27 years attained an increase of 1 049.8%. Besides, it has attained a growth at a 0.2% average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall raise since the 1991. It averaged 472 537.81 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 34 kilogram in 2003.
