Value of payments by cards with a debit function in Switzerland does not change in 2017

According to updated numbers published by Bank for International Settlements, compared to the previous year the variable hasn't changed. For the 2nd consecutive year, the debit card payments value remained the same at 46.68 billion US Dollars. The overall changes for the prior 11 years hit a raise of 12.08%. Furthermore, it has attained a growth at a 0.05 percent CAGR over the 5 years with a overall increase since the 2007. It averaged 41.59 billion US Dollars from 2007 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 50.83 billion US Dollars in 2009 and record low of 29.03 billion US Dollars in 2010.
