Import of benzoic acid to Rwanda: Decline in 2016

Compared with the previous year the variable fell sharply by 37.52%, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Petrochemical intermediates import strongly went down from 17 595 US Dollar to 10 993 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it climbed by 38.04%. Rwanda saw a raise of 213.73% in petrochemical intermediates import over the past 20 years. Moreover, it has had a increase at a 0.15 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall growth since the 1997. It averaged 4 715.7 US Dollar from 1997 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 17 595 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 113 US Dollar in 2008.
