Production of chemical wood pulp, soda or sulphate, other than dissolving grades in France drops in 2017

According to revised data released by European Commission, chemical pulp production hardly diminished by 1.27 percent in 2017. The indicator decreased barely from 1 274 436 992 kilogram to 1 258 263 936 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 4.1%. The overall changes for the previous 22 years reached a raise of 31.77%. Moreover, it has had a 0.01 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the 1996. It averaged 798 107 217.45 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 1 817 350 016 kilogram in 2000 and record low of 749 860 544 kilogram in 2008.
