Sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey in Lithuania climbs in 2017

According to refreshed data published by European Commission, sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey went up by 9.26 percent compared to the prior year. The indicator grew by 172 215 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 18.32 percent. Lithuania saw an increase of 245.38% in sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey during the last 13 years. Besides, it has shown a 0.1 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 438 386.69 kilogram from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 118 993 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 588 251 kilogram in 2005.
