Import of prepared or preserved citrus fruits to South Africa: Drop in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared with the prior year the indicator fell strongly by 45.37%. Processed fruits import sharply went down from 107 160 US Dollar to 58 542.73 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 1.23 percent. South Africa saw a drop of 5.45% in processed fruits import over the past 18 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.2 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 142 183.43 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 445 737 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 23 176 US Dollar in 2001.
