Trucks production in Japan: Increase in 2017

According to figures announced by OICA, in 2017 the indicator grew hardly by 1.89%. Truck production slightly rose from 505 976 to 515 521, versus the prior year when it diminished by 13.74 percent. Japan saw a drop of 45.71% in truck production during the last 21 years. Besides, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the 1997. It averaged 627 695.81 from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 949 592 in 1997 and record low of 371 686 in 2009.
