Import of sheet or film non-cellular and not reinforced of flexible vinyl polymer to Jamaica increases in 2017

The variable climbed by 18.17 percent compared to the prior year, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Plastic import went up by 337 935 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 31.72 percent. Jamaica saw a growth of 1 778.76% in plastic import during the last 19 years. Likewise, it has shown a 0.07 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall increase since the 1999. It averaged 1 078 628.32 US Dollar from 1999 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 3 184 590 US Dollar in 2006 and record low of 102 094 US Dollar in 2000.
