Import of fishing rods to Iceland goes down in 2017

Compared with the year before sporting goods import dropped by 26.74%, according to adjusted figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Sporting goods import diminished from 7 132 kilogram to 5 225.17 kilogram, in comparison to the prior year when it rose by 0.99 percent. The overall changes for the previous 30 years reached a decline of 32.86%. Likewise, it has had a drop at a 0.12 percent average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 8 879.04 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 18 183 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 3 407 kilogram in 1989.
