Import of fishing rods to Iceland: Drop in 2017

In 2017 sporting goods import fell by 26.74%, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The variable decreased from 7 132 kilogram in 2016 to 5 225.17 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 0.99%. Iceland saw a decrease of 32.86% in sporting goods import over the past 30 years. Likewise, it has shown a diminution at a 0.12% average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1988. It averaged 8 879.04 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 18 183 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 3 407 kilogram in 1989.
