In comparison with the prior year flax yarn export greatly fell by 99.73%, according to statistics presented by European Commission. It's new all-time low since 2006 as the variable strongly went down from 333 140 Euro to 910 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 3.25 percent. Bulgaria saw a decrease of 22.88% in flax yarn export over the past 11 years. Moreover, it has shown a drop at a 0.72 percent compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall rise since the 2006. It averaged 241 421.82 Euro from 2006 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 553 190 Euro in 2013.
