Household expenditure on new or used cars in France rises in 2017

According to updated numbers announced by France National Statistical Office, compared to the previous year new or used cars expenditure climbed by 6.18%. The variable went up from 37 961 million Euros to 40 306 million Euros, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 7.22%. It's new all-time maximum since 1959. France saw an increase of 7 215.06% in new or used cars expenditure during the last 59 years. Besides, it has had a rise at a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1959. It averaged 20 281.95 million Euros from 1959 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 551 million Euros in 1959.
