Import of uncoated wallpaper base to South Africa: Diminution in 2017

Paper import greatly diminished by 68.44% in comparison with the prior year, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator strongly went down by 9 472.33 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it grew by 77.62%. South Africa saw a decrease of 95.52% in paper import during the last 18 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.49 percent over the five years with a modest overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 41 205.43 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 123 139 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 505 kilogram in 2009.
