Import of roasted chicory and other coffee substitutes to Namibia increases in 2016

Compared to the year before chicory import increased by 15.93%, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. The variable went up by 72 370 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it decreased by 29.38 percent. Namibia saw a raise of 345.08% in chicory import during the last 17 years. Still it has had a fall at a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 304 964.53 US Dollar from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 643 339 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 18 777 US Dollar in 2003.
