Export of collections and collectors pieces from Tanzania declines in 2016

According to refreshed numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office, consumer goods export strongly fell by 97.73 percent in 2016. The indicator decreased greatly from 340 867 US Dollar to 7 738 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 63.36 percent. The overall changes for the previous 19 years hit an increase of 1 411.33%. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.49 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 273 437.68 US Dollar from 1998 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 448 207 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 512 US Dollar in 1998.
