Possession of small passenger vehicles in China: Increase in 2016

According to numbers announced by China National Statistical Office, in comparison with the prior year the variable grew by 16.45%. Passenger vehicles ownership increased from 13 580.48 ten thousand unit to 15 813.84 ten thousand unit, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 15.6 percent. It's new all-time peak since 2002. The overall changes for the prior 15 years reached a raise of 1 902.41%. As well as it has attained a 0.14% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 5 909.64 ten thousand unit from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 789.74 ten thousand unit in 2002.
