Possession of small passenger vehicles in China: Raise in 2017

Compared to the prior year the indicator went up by 12.85%, according to new statistics presented by China National Statistical Office. Passenger vehicles ownership climbed from 15 813.84 ten thousand unit to 17 846.7 ten thousand unit, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 16.45%. It displays the all-time peak since 2002. The overall changes for the prior 16 years hit a rise of 2 159.82%. Likewise, it has had a raise at a 0.12 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 6 655.71 ten thousand unit from 2002 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 789.74 ten thousand unit in 2002.
