Re-export of swine leather from Italy: Growth in 2017

In 2017 skins export strongly grew by 49.41%, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. The indicator greatly increased by 1 133 kilogram, versus the prior year when it dropped by 3.17%. Italy saw a raise of 176.51% in skins export over the past 6 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01% over the last five years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 3 720.33 kilogram from 2012 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 9 339 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 1 239 kilogram in 2012.
