Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Hungary: Drop in 2017

Yarn import diminished by 30% compared to the prior year, according to data issued by European Commission. It's the lowest number in its history since 2008 as the indicator went down by 600 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it grew by 33.33%. Hungary saw a fall of 62.16% in yarn import over the past 10 years. Moreover, it has shown a decrease at a 0.25 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the 2008. It averaged 6 180 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 14 800 kilogram in 2012.
